GTAonPC Project
We are four friends: Joshua, Nick, Adam and Jay. We are the founders of GTAonPC Project. As the name says we developed a way to help the people that want to play GTA V on their computers. We decided to start this project because GTA games have been a large part of so many people's lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. The software is in an alpha state. We don't know yet when the final release will be available. We hope by the end of October. In contrast to the beta, the alpha version lacks the implementation of most features (such as cheats, anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering, maximum resolution). The current version is just a skeleton that needs to be fleshed out and wrapped into a nice skin, before anyone can estimate where this new thing will walk to.  How it works?
Our software isn't an emulator. It is a live converter of Playstation 3 with server-implementation: we installed a multi-client on our jailbroken Playstations that it is forwarding data to a server that streams and duplicates the content to our application. Basically you are playing on someone Playstation. We have a limited servers available at the moment so if you can't connect to a server wait until one will be available.
High recommended requirements:
  • Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
  • Internet connection; 
  • Controller or keyboard (better performances with a controller);
  • Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHZ or AMD Dual Core 2.6 GHZ, or better
  • 2GB System RAM
  • NVIDIA® GeForce 8600 GT 512MB RAM or AMD Radeon™ HD 3400 512MB RAM
